We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lagos de Miramar flat in El Medano. It is very well located (20 minutes’ drive from TF South airport), practically stone’s throw from a quiet beach with a cosy drinks corner! The locality is very quiet, decent and clean with easy access (max 10 minutes of walk) to all necessary facilities. Every morning, I used to watch the sunrise from the rock on the beach, walk down to the fresh fruit shop (La Fruitaria) and Victoria’s patisserie for our daily freshly made breakfast. There’s a good selection of restaurants on the main beach within 10 minutes of walk. The flat is spacious for a family of four (3 adults + 1 child) with a good lounge / dining / cooking area (entrance level). The bedrooms (flight of stairs up) are of reasonable size with large windows. The family bathroom upstairs is of good size, however, the one at the lounge area is slightly cosy. Although, the bathrooms’ lights may be improved, however, the toilets / showers (powerful! I like it) / wash-basins work perfectly. The flat receives plenty of natural light and is airy. You have access to the internal swimming pools (adults / kids) inside a secured area, however, one needs to be mindful that there are no lifeguards. Bottom line – if you wish to enjoy a balanced family holiday in Tenerife, this flat is the place, where you could have a world of your own. Visit the touristy places over the days and return to El Medano for a peaceful night’s rest and a refreshing morning. There’s a terrace as well, you could either enjoy the ocean and El Teide family at your leisure with a chilled pint to Dorada! Last but not the least, the host has been very helpful from the very beginning and was always contactable over our period of stay to respond to our queries.
